Hi, I'm Zach Gershman

I'm a staff writer, on-air reporter, and content creator for the Arizona Cardinals.

I joined the Arizona Cardinals in 2023 straight out of college to become a member of the Cardinals award-winning content & creative department. I write feature stories and articles for azcardinals.com, host my own show, “The Pulse with Zach Gershman”, and appear as an on-air personality across our social media platforms, official team podcasts, local radio and our TV affiliate, Arizona's Family Sports.

At the core of my work is my passion for storytelling. I value earning trust from players and coaches to help share their stories. While I recap and provide analysis on the X’s and O’s of football, I pride myself on finding the human interest stories that go beyond the helmet and jersey number.

For me, that passion began at an early age. When I was 12-years-old, I launched ZachOnSports — a YouTube channel where I shared commentary, interviews, and opinions, joined by local and national sports personalities. That’s when I caught the sports media bug, and I haven’t stopped chasing stories since.

I graduated from Penn State in 2023 with a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism, a minor in Sports Studies, and a certificate from the John Curley Center for Sports Journalism. During my time in Happy Valley, I worked with GoPSUSports, the Big Ten Network, and ESPN State College. I was also honored with several regional and national awards, including:

Whether it’s interviewing players in the locker room, writing articles, or broadcasting in front of the camera, I’m just doing what I’ve loved since day one… Or at least since I was 12.
